When launched in 1981, this set of 3 candle holders was called CYLINDER and the simple shape was created by the siblings Marianne Hagberg and Knut Hagberg.

"CYLINDER candle holders were first made from scrap metal and seen in our 1982 catalogue but have been re-launched several times since then. Now called TUVKORNELL in the Nytillverkad collection, we hope they’ll brighten up even more homes.”

"The idea for these candle holders came from a visit at a supplier who made metal furniture. We saw a lot of leftover materials that we felt could be used. So we drew a straight cylinder with weight focused at the bottom for added stability. The set with the 3 CYLINDER candle holders were seen in our 1982 catalogue and has since been re-launched several times. Now called TUVKORNELL in the Nytillverkad collection, our hope is that they will now brighten up even more homes."
