We are deeply sorry for the major earthquakes that have been affecting Kahramanmaraş and its neighbouring provinces.

Working in coordination with the authorised units for aid and solidarity to the people in need in the earthquake regions, we have delivered the determined needs, especially blankets, quilts, and pillows, which can contribute who are in need for the cold weather conditions.

Swedish civil society organisation Better Shelter is delivering 5,000 emergency shelters to earthquake victims as part of a 10 million Euro donation from the IKEA Foundation. Since 2020, Better Shelter has been working in cooperation with local civil society organisations to provide temporary shelter, field clinics, and educational spaces.

In the coming periods, we will continue our support for the needs in earthquake regions with the cooperation of Global IKEA.

Our pain is great, we will heal our wounds together.

We continue to work in solidarity to rebuild lives in disaster areas. In this context, with the donation of the IKEA Foundation, we met the furniture and accessory needs of the emergency shelters delivered by the Swedish non-governmental organisation Better Shelter to Hatay Defne and Hassa regions with the cooperation of Global IKEA and completed their installation with the support of IKEA Turkey employees.
